STARS4Water Online Stakeholders’ Workshop “Applying stakeholder-driven tools for climate-resilient river basin management”

February 24 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

This online Stakeholders’ Workshop, organised by the STARS4Water project, brings together river basin authorities, practitioners, and scientists to exchange experiences on applying stakeholder-driven tools and processes for climate-resilient water management.

Building on the co-creation approach of STARS4Water, the workshop will showcase how scientific methods, data services, and participatory processes have been applied in real river-basin contexts. A central focus will be on learning from practice: how climate risks are assessed, how tools are embedded into decision processes, and what lessons can be transferred across basins.

The workshop will also provide direct input into the STARS4Water Synthesis Report and the roadmap towards the Final Conference in 2026.

Workshop Objectives

  • Share concrete experiences from river basin stakeholders applying STARS4Water methods
  • Reflect on climate-risk contexts, applications, and uptake pathways
  • Identify best practices, lessons learned, and remaining challenges
  • Gather stakeholder feedback to shape the STARS4Water Synthesis Report and future outreach

Please save the date and join us in shaping the next steps for water resilience in Europe and beyond.
