Climate change, which is accelerating, has a massive impact on the water cycle in the river basin of Rhine. The STARS4Water workshop with the stakeholders of the Rhine River Basin in Arnhem (NL) on the 19th-20th of March 2025 was an important milestone to update the 2015 Climate Change Adaptation Strategy of the International Commission for the Protection of the Rhine (ICPR) by the end of 2025.
During the workshop, the progress and main outcomes of the STARS4Water project were presented to the International Commission for the Hydrology of the Rhine Basin (CHR) and to the Central Commission for Navigation of the Rhine (CCNR).
