Water resources are globally under pressure. Effective planning requires tools that can simulate water management interventions, scenarios and infrastructure impacts, and address issues of water allocation. Along these lines, this webinar presents the RIBASIM water management tool, which can support such analysis at the river basin scale. Two use cases at the Mekong Delta and the Meuse basin are presented and discussed.
Learning Objectives
- What is RIBASIM and what problems does it address?
- What types of questions can be answered?
- Example outputs from different use cases
Target Audience
- Water professionals, Planners, Anyone dealing with river basin modelling or policy
