SUMMARY:STARS4Water Stakeholders Workshop on the East Anglia hub
DESCRIPTION:STARS4Water will hold its 1st Workshop with the stakeholders of the East Anglia region in Huntingdon (UK) on the 23rd of March 2023. The Workshop will be held back-to-back with the ‘Water for tomorrow’ event. The aim of the STARS4Water Workshop is to present\, on one hand\, the STARS4Water project scope and where it fits in the East Anglia’s region own process\, and to engage\, on the other hand\, in a dialogue and a co-development process with the stakeholders. During the workshop we will discuss: the main issues for water resources management in the Rhine under changing climate\, the needs for data and/or modeled information for getting a better understanding of the system\, the needs for accessible and actionable information to support planning and decision making (water balances\, safe operating space\, solutions\, etc.).

SUMMARY:STARS4Water Stakeholders Workshop on the Seine hub
DESCRIPTION:STARS4Water held its 1st Workshop with the EPTB Seine Grands Lacs\, stakeholders in the Seine River Basin\, in Paris (FR) on the 15th of February 2023. The aim of the workshop was to present\, on one hand\, the scope of the STARS4Water project and where it fits in the Seine River Basin’s own requirements towards improved water management\, and\, on the other hand\, to engage in a dialogue and a co-development process with the stakeholders. During the workshop\, the following was discussed: the main issues for water resources management in the Seine River\, and in particular for the management of the upstream reservoirs\, under extreme events and a changing climate\, the needs for additional data and/or model output information for better operations\, and the needs for accessible and actionable information to support planning and decision making.
