SUMMARY:STARS4Water Stakeholders Workshop on the Seine hub
DESCRIPTION:STARS4Water held its 1st Workshop with the EPTB Seine Grands Lacs\, stakeholders in the Seine River Basin\, in Paris (FR) on the 15th of February 2023. The aim of the workshop was to present\, on one hand\, the scope of the STARS4Water project and where it fits in the Seine River Basin’s own requirements towards improved water management\, and\, on the other hand\, to engage in a dialogue and a co-development process with the stakeholders. During the workshop\, the following was discussed: the main issues for water resources management in the Seine River\, and in particular for the management of the upstream reservoirs\, under extreme events and a changing climate\, the needs for additional data and/or model output information for better operations\, and the needs for accessible and actionable information to support planning and decision making.
